HEAD OF EVENTS

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, promotion, execution and post-production of LaureaES events, including both online and physical events like webinars, workshops, networking events, seminars and programs. You will communicate regularly with the Head of Marketing and the rest of the board, as well as be involved in very interesting event-related collaborations with other companies and organizations. The Head of Events will prepare reports and collect statistics about hosted events.

With this role, you will have the opportunity to build, recruit and manage your own events team as well as supervise volunteers for events. Together with the events team, you will run the existing events, as well as research and develop new event concepts as needed. 

People-, time-, and project management skills are beneficial in this position. Even if you don’t have experience in event management, a willingness to learn quickly will get you far. You do however need to have good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure from time to time. We consider this to be one of our most hands-on types of roles, and you will develop many new skills and competencies that will be valuable in any career field.

– Participating in event-related collaborations & internal and external meetings.
– Collecting and processing event-related data and reporting about events.
