Growth is the latest addition to a diverse portfolio of event concepts produced by Laurea Entrepreneurship Society. Through this new event concept, we want to offer easily accessible online learning opportunities that equip both individuals and early-stage startups with tools, knowledge and motivation to hack their growth.
Growth is divided into two concepts, Growth Talks webinars and Growth Works online workshops, which each foster delivery methods and focus points tailored for a select purpose.
Hatch focuses on incubating business ideas from just a thought to execution. The program has been running annually in the fall since 2017 and targets university students with business ideas.
During this 8-week program, we offer professional mentoring, lectures in different fields, workshops with our partners, networking opportunities in the midst of the Finnish startup scene and much more! The program culminates in a final pitching competition called Hatch Demo Day, where the participants pitch their ideas in front of a live audience and winner of Hatch Incubator takes home a prize to help kick-start their business.
Cambridge Venture Camp is an accelerator camp for entrepreneurial-minded students to develop their own business ideas and launch them with the help of experienced mentors. The program was founded in 2007 and has been successfully run by us ever since.
The program is organised annually in the spring together with different partner universities and consists of two intensive program weeks in Helsinki and Cambridge, UK. The accelerator has more than 200 alumnis from over the years.
Pitch & Beer is a fun and light-hearted pitching competition where anyone can try out their pitching skills in a safe and fun environment. The evening is also the most amazing networking opportunity and a place to find similar minded connections or even new friends.
Our experienced entry-level pitching judges will give you constructive feedback on your idea and on how to improve your pitching skills. We’re not expecting you to be a pro, we’ll cheer on you for being courageous and taking the stage.
In 2008 we launched Entrepreneurship Tuesdays, the first student entrepreneurship event concept in Finland, and successfully organised an estimate of 150 Entrepreneurship Tuesdays during the next 10 years until 2018.
Today, our event concept Growth offers similar events but in a more agile and updated format.
